PSA: My personal view on vitas is that they are dishonest egomaniacal hyperindividualist braggy nonsense only needed when you have no one to help you out with a bit of nepotism/social capital or don't have a name big enough to make an ordered list of all your highly important accomplishments redundant and to keep you from being called an upstart in a highly commercialized and pseudo-professionalized art world relying on recognizable patterns and marketing speak in order to establish a sense of at least superficial credibility, but does that exempt me from their basic necessity? Naaah. I'm no better than you, mate. Cognitive dissonance, here I come.
